CARICOOS real-time buoy observations near Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands at PR3 - CARICOOS Data Buoy E, located at 18d 15.660m N, 65d 27.846m Wl, North of Vieques. Buoy PR314 was deployed from 2026-07-15 17:50:00 through 0000-00-00 00:00:00 UTC. Instrument_1: Sea surface wave measurements of signficant wave height and dominant wave period are estimated from vertical accelerations measured twice each hour by a 3-axis accelerometer onboard the buoy. Instrument_2: Sea surface wave measurements of significant wave height, dominant wave period, and mean wave direction are measured hourly by an Axys TRIAXYS wave sensor onboard the buoy.
