45198 is a seasonal moored buoy deployed near Chicago, Illinois, USA, about 1.3 miles off Navy Pier, and has been active since August 2021. The buoy is in ~30 feet of water and is equipped to measure meteorological and physical water parameters. The buoy is operated by Illinois Indiana Sea Grant and is maintained in partnership with Purdue University and LimnoTech.
