OSPAR EUNIS Combined Map 2026

The OSPAR EUNIS Combined map is a near full-coverage map for the NE Atlantic created to inform the indicator BH3 Extent of Physical Damage for the OSPAR 2029 Intermediate Assessment. It contains the best available habitat data within the reporting region of the North-East Atlantic, as sourced from the EMODnet collection of Individual maps from survey, classified to EUNIS v2007-11 and v2022, plus additional maps supplied through an OSPAR data call. Gaps between maps have been filled using EUSeaMap 2025. Polygons are also classified to MSFD Benthic Broad Habitat Types. Overlaps have been removed.
