Inventories and Use of Habitats by Species at Risk and by the Common Eider in the Pointe-au-Père National Wildlife Area (NWAPAP)

As part of the Pointe-au-Père National Wildlife Area (NWAPAP) management plan (Environment and Climate Change Canada [ECCC], 2016), ECCC mandates the Comité ZIP du Sud-de-l'Estuaire (ZIPSE) to carry out field knowledge acquisition work. The task aims to know the use of habitats by wildlife species at risk, common eiders of the St. Lawrence population (Somateria mollissima dresseri) and the distribution of plant species of interest in this reserve, ECCC lands and adjacent coastal habitats. This inventory is the summary of work spread over 2 years, from 2019 to 2020.
