The capex690 planned mission serves as a biological complement to the thermohaline staircase survey for the FKt260806/SPICE cruise aboard the Schmidt Ocean Institute's R/V Falkor (too). This glider will provide active acoustic backscatter observations to characterize zooplankton biomass and vertical distribution, deployed in tandem with SEA044 - Martorn from the Voice of the Ocean Foundation. Real-time datasets will include CTD data provided to the IOOS Glider DAC and GTS to support ocean and atmospheric weather forecasting. Delayed mode dataset.
