Humber Estuary Intertidal Sediment Survey
The Institute of Estuarine and Coastal Studies (IECS) was commissioned by Natural England (NE) to undertake ecological survey work during the autumn of 2014 in order to monitor and assess the intertidal mudflat and sandflat communities of the Humber Estuary. The specific objectives of this contract were to, in collaboration with Natural England, plan, undertake and report on Phase I and Phase II intertidal sampling techniques covering the intertidal mudflats and sandflats in order to inform condition monitoring of the Humber Estuary features.
