Distribution and Evaulation of the Slipper-Shell Limpet (Crepidula fornicata) Stock, between Cape Fréhel and Mont Saint-Michel (Western English Channel)
Studies conducted in 1995 and 1996 for the Brittany Region, with the objective of mapping and quantifying the slipper-shell limpet (Crepidula fornicata) population in the coastal strip stretching from Cape Fréhal to Mont-Saint-Michel. During a number of campaigns at sea observation means such as side-scan sonar, underwater video and autonomous diving were implemented. Hamon grabs were used for quantitative sampling. Many outings at low tide also complemented the coastal data.
