Analysis of the results from benthic sampling in the Humber Estuary

Natural England commissioned biological surveys of the upper, middle and lower Humber Estuary to provide information on benthic communities. Forty-seven stations were sampled in the three areas (single replicates at forty-two; five replicates at five): nine sites in the upper estuary, twenty-five in the middle estuary and thirteen in the lower estuary. Biological samples were and sieved at 0.5mm and analysed by Unicomarine and the Environment Agency.
