The data will be useful for thermal modelling, fish habitat assessment, evaluation of diurnal (i.e. daily) fluctuations, comparison to guidelines for aquatic species, and many other anticipated uses.  Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) provided data logger equipment on long-term loan as well as technical advice on proposed monitoring locations, data logger setup, and deployment techniques.  Atlantic Water Network (AWN) provided coordination and advice to community groups on the data uploading procedure for Atlantic DataStream.  Community groups provided staff and volunteers to deploy and maintain the data loggers, to download the data, and to upload the data to Atlantic DataStream.</gco:CharacterString>\n
